The clients' vision for this project was to create a traditional English home imbued with symmetry and order. Respect for the New Forest context was also a significant influence. This was realised by a combination of the columned porch, "Georgian" windows, Flemish bond brickwork and upper floor tile hanging.
In contrast with the exterior, the interior of the residence takes a refined modern approach. The house connects the indoor and outdoor spaces with a partially open plan layout, bringing light into the house from every elevation.
